After graduating from WFHS, I attended Midwestern for a year and transferred to Texas Tech where I graduated with a BS in Physics.
I accepted a job offer with McDonnell Douglas in California working on the Apollo program (They made the third stage of the Saturn V rocket) to take men to the Moon. I got married there to my Texas Tech girlfriend (Beverly).
We moved to Houston where I worked on the Space Shuttle program for 7 years.
Completing our cross country voyage, we then moved to the Washington DC area where I still work with NASA to develop spacecraft.
I retired from McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing after the acquisition) about 7 years ago and I have been working for a couple of smaller aerospace companies ever since, currently a Vice President with Jackson and Tull. The plan is to retire very soon and enjoy the ill gained loot, partially at a newly acquired Delaware beach house and driving my XK convertible (delayed mid life crisis).
My wife, Beverly, is now retired (mostly) and has been a school teacher, NASA paper editor, technical writer, author, and lecturer.
We share life with 2 flat coated retrievers who allow us to have house privilages.
I am looking forward to seeing all of the old WFHS friends.
