Well, where does one start in reviewing 50 years of living in Wichita Falls? I graduated from Midwestern State with Bachelors and Masters degrees in education and served 37 years as a teacher, principal, and then superintendent in the City View ISD here. I retired in 2007 and then ran for District 1 City Councilor for the City of Wichita Falls, won, and have been re-elected twice to that position. I was elected by the City Council to be Mayor Pro Tem in 2012. I ran for City Councilor At Large in 2013 and won. I am married to a former Coyote (Karen Anderson-'62) and we have three children, three grandchildren, and three cats. We are members of our church Sanctuary choir and enjoy singing very much. Our big hobby is traveling...we have visited all 50 states and some 30 foreign countries.
