I married in December,1964. After graduation from Texas Tech, I taught school. John & I had twin sons in 1971. I became a "stay-at-home" mom & did not return to the workforce until 1996. In 2009, I retired from Covenant Health System where I was the director of community outreach programs. Both sons have married. David & his wife live in Irvine, CA with their two sons. Clint & his wife live in Friendswood, TX with their twins-a boy & a girl. I enjoyed volunteering in the Lubbock community & made many new and special friends through my involvements. John & I will celebrate 50 years of marriage in 2014! We have a pretty quiet lifestyle now, but we do enjoy getting to see our children & grandchildren whenever possible.
